Windows 10: Resolve Error "Code 43" on nvidia geforce 730M/740M/750M/760M/770M Driver
Story:
My laptop (Aspire V3-571G) with 730M
It was a Windows 7 Pro, upgraded to Windows 10 Professional around Aug, 2015.
And of course, I got the so-called "Error Code 43"
on my device manager :: NVIDIA GEFORCE 730M
with an YELLOW TRIANGLE.
1. Q: How about use "latest NVIDIA GeForce driver for Windows 10"?
@ Answer #1:
Totally Futile! I've tried that thru Aug/Sep/Oct 2015, Tried every single latest release for nVidia drivers for Windows 10 GeForce driver, no luck at all, got error 43 after every reboot.
2. Q: Use the old Windows 8.1 driver provided by Notebook Vendor ?
@ Answer #2:
Yes, it may work, you no longer see error 43 code; however __MOST__ your applications(e.g. 3D games) which use Geforce Adapter will ask you to upgrade to latest nVidia driver, or they won't install or funtional at all,
e.g. BattleNet StarCraft-2 or Diablo-III won't work with old GeForce driver.
3. Q: Say, how about using DDU, remove/reinstall your driver in Safe Mode?
@ Answer #3:
OK, DDU is a good thing to remove all VGA driver, and get you a clean start; however you will still see Error 43 after leaving Windows 10 Safe Mode. (What the ...)
4. Q: So, How do you resolve this Windows 10 Geforce ERROR 43 issue?
@ Answer #4:
I hate to say it: "I resolved the issue by restoring/rolling back the Windows 10 Installtion to original Windows 7 Professional..."
