Ubuntu 14.04: E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
Solution:
(1) sudo vim /etc/apt/sources.list
(2) Change all 404 Not found address to US archive
e.g. tw.archive.ubuntu.com --> change to --> us.archive.ubuntu.com
(3) save and quit vim
(4) run sudo apt-get update again
