About the show

Akiko Kobayakawa is a Tokyo-based artist. She will have her solo
exhibition, "In My Garden", in Taipei for the first time.
She has been working with paintings and has explored affinity and
similarity among our body, animals, plants and daily objects.
Her works are basically painted with Japanese ink, acrylic paint on paper.
In this solo exhibition, about 20 works from her new series of
paintings done in 2014 and 2015.
